Computed dates are information, not advice. Always check them against the dates in your own letters — the clock usually runs from when the local authority senta notice, which can differ from when you received it. Fixed dates: phase transfers
When a child or young person is moving between phases of education (for example primary to secondary, or secondary to a post-16 institution), the EHC plan must be reviewed and amended by fixed calendar dates in the year of transfer: 15 February for school phase transfers, and 31 March for transfers from secondary school to a post-16 institution.
“…the local authority must review and amend, where necessary, the child or young person's EHC plan before — (a) 31 March in the calendar year of the child or young person's transfer from secondary school to a post-16 institution; and (b) 15 February in the calendar year of the child's transfer in any other case…”
